Starburst Mirror on the Cheap!

Fellow Richmonder, very talented decorator, and hysterically funner blogger Julia over at Pawley's Island Posh tipped me off to this great starburst mirror.  It's surprisingly from Home Depot!  The price is so great too!  At $35 its a no brainer.

Love how it looks on Julia's mantle.

I immediately got online and ordered one to pick up in my local store.  Searching Home Depot with my active two year old doesn't usually end well so I figured if they had it waiting for me it would be my first successful trip to the Depot and probably a record setting time!  And because I'm a weirdo and possible hoarder I ordered two just in case!

I wasn't sure where it would land in my house and tried it out in a few places but decided over the bed in our master was the winner.  Here it is with some Tarjay pillows, lampshades, JCPenny ruffle duvet and a peacock pillow and throw from Pier 1.  They  have a $10 off 50 coupon here but it expires today :(

Love how it ties in the gold in my dresser and map drawer projects I recently completed.
Pick up your own  mirror here.
Hope everyone had a great weekend!

  1. No way, Home Depot?!? It's so chic, I'd never guess!! It looks gorgeous over the bed! I almost used that same lamp shade on a light fixture in my living room. I loved it but ended up taking it back because I only liked it with three sides of the room, not with the fourth...is that weird??
I am dying over that peacock pillow....oh my gosh, it's just gorgeous!!! Have GOT to get one!!!

  3. Thanks for the shout out girl! It's so much more amazing in person, right? I picked mine up from the store way out in midlo and was shocked at the amaze new car carts they had. The car part for the kids is in the front an up high and the wheels could turn on a dime. Between that and the tons of sinks in the kitchen display are for my ocd child to pretend to wash her hands in I'll be back just for more indoor entertainment!
