Remember my Mad Men wanna be mid-century china cabinet I got at Class and Trash for $64!!!
Well I'm finally done fixing her up and here she is in all her 2011 glory!
I sanded it and used Behr paint and primer in the color "Picket Fence" (a prettier name for almost white)
I also spray painted the drawer pull in Rustoleums Black in Gloss finish.
Thanks to everyone who helped me choose my fabric (from quilthome.com) for the back. I ended up going with this one because it was the cheapest and was the closest to the trellis look I initially wanted. I also love that it's a little retro looking which goes with the vibe of the mid-century cabinet.
Hobby Lobby $2.00
I switched out the pulls on the bottom for these from Hobby Lobby (50% off all knobs that day! Score!)
Here it is next to my Annechovie prints I was pulling the pink from.
I hope you like and are inspired to hit up a thrift store and fancy up an old frumpy thing!
I'm linking up here!
