What I'm up to...

I have about a million projects going on but wanted to share a few that I'm hopefully about to start soon!

Got two of these from the Habitat ReStore in Hanover.  Going to spray the frames and switch out the fabric with something fun and flashy!

Cute little stool from Class and Trash.  Same thing, spray the frame and get rid of that hideous granny fabric!

Probably go distressed black on this coffee table.

And these I'm super excited about!!!  I didn't do a close up of the seat cushion because I didn't want you all to throw up a little in your mouth.  They are N-A-S-T-Y!!!  My daughter sat on them when I wasn't looking and I'm scared she might have caught something from them!!!  You'd have thought there was a fire in the garage!  I was yelling and screaming like a lunatic for her to get off them!
But don't they have so much potential!!!

So what about you all???  What have you been up to?

  1. AGH! I can't wait to see these pieces transformed! They all just need a little love and some of your magic! OMG, I am cracking up at your reaction to your little one sitting on those seats. Totally understand. Get out the Purell!

  4. Saweet! I'm excited to see what you do with the chairs - ALL of them! I'm off almost all of next week so I can FINALLY catch up on the growing mound of furniture I have in our garage! I'm actually working a coffee table now. I have a pretty neat idea that I'm testing on it so I hope it works out!

  6. I love your blog! I am always in awe of people that can look at the "fugliest" piece of furniture and see a hidden thing of beauty. My mother was like that...however, that gene skipped me. So I was thinking there must be other people like me that read your blog. I own a special events biz and thought wouldn't it be awesome to create a small local tour where you could lead a small group through some of your favorite shops and offer suggestions on how to "beautify" a found gem. What do you think?
