Remember my Goodwill secretary desk I picked up for a measly $25!
So here is the icky before!
And here is the fun after! I mod podged some girly fabric on the top and painted the inside a funky hot pink in addition to adding some inexpensive Target drawer pulls!
Hope you all like it. I'm not in love with it but I guess you can't love every project you complete. I think it's cute for Emerson and I hope she will love it when she is old enough to start little crafty art projects.

ReplyDeleteit's adorable! i did a piece for my house last week i wasn't in lve with... out it in place, and it has totally grown on me. i bet that will happen. and ifnot, it's just paint and paper- easy fix!

ReplyDeleteIt looks great! And the poster who mentioned that once it is in place it will grow on you - I think they are right. I see what you are saying though, there is something missing (and maybe that just a matter of moving it into it's own room) but maybe there needs to be white on the pink part, or pink on the white part (spray the hardware?).
