Miracles Do Happen

A little miracle happened today at our house.  I'm not sure what came over me, maybe the 100 degree weather we are having pushed me over the edge...not sure.  But today I parked my car in the GARAGE!!!  It wasn't easy and I had to bring some things up to the attic (which is a big ole hot mess) and do some major puzzle piecing of the items remaining in the garage but...IT'S IN!!!

It has been so long since I've parked in the garage because of all my endless projects going on, this was my THREE YEAR OLD daughters response to my elation about squeezing it in there....

"Your dads gonna be mad at you!"

She literally thinks my husband is going to be mad because I put a car in the garage!!!

Little does she know I just made his dreams come true!

The whole neighborhood is going to think I've left my husband since my car wont be parked in the driveway anymore.  OMG!  Imagine the rumors that will start flying!  This could be fun!

Doesn't it look amazing...

Oh, wait, that's not my garage!  Mine still looks something like this...

But it's in people!!!  And I'm happy!!!

  4. hahaha! I miss having a garage to park in. It's nice not having to walk out in the heat to get in the car.

  5. Wow! With the first picture I was going to make an appointment for you to come to my house - wait, I don't have a a garage... oh, well. My spare room that used to be the garage looks like the second picture, I can really relate there.

  7. I completely believed you that the first pic was your garage, until I scrolled down. Haha!! I was sitting here thinking, WOW her husband IS going to love her! I'm sure he loves you nonetheless. ;)

Hope you're having a great week! Stay cool (literally).

  8. That is too funny! Mine looks almost as bad as the 2nd picture, but I am optimistic when youngest son goes back to college, it will look like picture #1, HAAA HAAAHAA! (I laugh insanely...)

  9. I'm jealous! We've lived in our house for 4 years and we've yet to park any car in the garage. The stuff in there is my husband's and he doesn't ever have time to clean out the garage. Every time there's a chance of hail I know he is holding his breath because he knows the bigger storm would come from me afterwords!
