Card Catalog Finds a Home.

I think I've found a home for the card catalog but need to make some more changes.  I've searched the whole house and attic for a better fitting lamp but couldn't find one here so I'm thinking I need to make a trip to Hobby Lobby or Home Goods for that.  Something smaller for sure.

Wanted to give you a look from farther away but the sun coming in makes it not such a great shot.

Love these foo dogs...ummmm, did you know...$10, Target
(anyone watch Real Housewives of Bev Hills..."ummmm, did you know, $25,000!"
That woman makes me crazy!)

One of my vignettes wouldn't be complete without a bottle of wine!!!
Fits perfectly, clearly meant to be!

So now the question becomes...to paint or not to paint?!?  Maybe sand and stain?  New legs...hairpin perhaps?  For now I'm happy but there is still work to be done.

  1. Please paint it...I was waiting for you to announce the color...black maybe? But don't listen to me, I'm on a black high! I just bought a bad ass black car too!

  3. It's lovely.... good score. I'm not sure about the painting idea. I love them in their natural form, very classic. But i'm always tempted to paint to make it fresh, different and modern. I'd generally say paint, but last night I finished a hallway shoe box with seat top that I painted and it's not wowing me like I thought it would. I always seem to do a sub par job. :/

I also haven't decided about the sewing machine you advised me on... it's sitting undo....

Keep us posted !!!! And if you are really stuck for ideas, just ship it out to me. :D

  4. Yes, clearly meant to be. I love it just the way it is, but if you change it, I'm sure it will be fantastic! Yes, that woman drives me nuts too!
