So sorry I have been a flake on the blog the last week or so. We were actually visiting my parents in Madison, Connecticut. That's where I found the $8 twin canopy bed!!! Their Goodwill had so many other treasures I wanted to bring home but I would have had to leave one of my kids at my parents to fit it in the car (now that we are home and they are overtired and grumpy from the traveling it doesn't seem as crazy an idea as it did at the time! I kid...sort of!)
Anyway, I thought I would give you a peak into my family life since I don't often do that. Frankly we are not as exciting as an $8 bed or $25 campaign dresser! But here are some highlights from the trip...
My daughter Emerson with her sweet baby cousin Kate
My nephew Thomas on the right (a total riot!) and my son Charlie.
Our annual family photo, each year there seems to be another baby added to the clan...we are on the right. I'm totally sporting my one shoulder top from this post!
A picture from the bridal shower we threw for my cousin who's getting married in September. Everyone was so complimentary of my necklace, Target Y'all!!! Go get one! Side note: It wouldn't have been a party without a little Skinny Girl Margarita!
So there you have it! Hope you all had a very happy 4th of July!
PS. How pathetic/amazing is this...we drove home from CT to Richmond yesterday and I still managed to hit up 3 Goodwill stores once home and score a great round dining table that I'm going to redo for the Through the Garden Gate booth!
