Out and About-Class and Trash

My mom and sister were visiting this weekend and were itching to go thrifting.  So being the polite hostess that I am I had to oblige.  We had some serious luck and where else but Class and Trash!  Look what my sister picked up!!!

It is actually 4 separate pieces stacked on top of one another.  She ended up getting 3 for $40 each!  This was currently on my "must find" list she had given me a few months back.  That and some bamboo chairs.  The chairs are yet to be discovered.  But how cool is it that we found the card catalog the weekend she was visiting!  She had seen a few card catalog projects out in the blogosphere and had been searching for one ever since.  Here is some inspiration for her on what these could be with a little elbow grease!

Can you even stand how amazing this is!!! Go check out the full tutorial!
We actually found it when we got back from shopping and my sister immediately called Class and Trash to buy the fourth one and IT HAD ALREADY SOLD!!!  We were heartbroken to say the least.

I can't wait to see what she does with hers!

I also picked this up for my other sister.  Class and Trash yet again!

Class and Trash $25

She is going to put it above her bed, which I think is a fantastic idea!  My mom caught me pacing back and forth as I debated whether or not I should get the other one for myself.  I passed (stupidly!).  There was one left if anyone wants to run out and get it before I change my mind!

Here's what she has in mind (or so I think!)

Pottery Barn

Anyone else pick up any fun stuff this weekend?

Don't forget to enter the giveaway from Tula Designs!  Today is the last day to enter!

  1. I was getting ready to ask about the fourth one. I would've bought all four just because.

    What a great find.

I have yet to tackle my card catalog.

I know what I want to do with it, but doing it is a totally different story.

  6. Love it! We took a trip to Alaska and stayed with relatives of my husband - they had a card catalog filled with wine bottles! I thought it was genius!

I bought one with gift cards we received at our wedding to store all of our CD's! Love this trend :)
