I love the fabric on these. It is kind of a silk material. I don't love the color of the wood and its a little worn but you could easily paint them with a fun pop of color, something unexpected, and give them a whole new vibe! I love them! How cute would they look on either side of the fire place or in a bedroom! And the price is definitely right!
Location: Through the Garden Gate Antiques (off 301 in Hanover) 746-5778
Price: $65 for one or $120 for both (this place has different vendors and each does their pricing different. Some negotiate price and some don't)
i think we may have been separated at birth! just kidding - but i definitely share your love of thrifting and the thrill of the find! my other obsession is before and afters - that's what led me to the furniture re-do's. good luck with the blog. i think it's a great idea and i'm hoping to learn of some new shopping spots!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your post! I also LOVE before and after furniture re-do's...I just wish I had more time to do them! If there were only a few more hours in each day and my children could entertain themselves for longer than 5 minutes I could squeeze some in! But for now I will just enjoy yours ;) Thanks for stopping by and thanks for the welcome into the blogging world!
